What is the best way to get wrinkles out of paper?
I want to use some gift packages for our wedding in my album (I archiver mist to neutralize acid, so as not to damage my book) – The problem is that he is bruised and some of its pretty wrinkled (which would add character to a few places, but I did not want all this way). I worry about using an iron – Part is glittery, plastic or metal that melts in May I'm afraid if I tried to iron it. Any recommendations on how to protect my iron and paper or another way to flatten the paper?
1. Using an iron might happen if you put a towel / cloth on the scarf and iron on the spot. But remember, your problem is not with the direct or indirect contact of the wrap and iron it with the heat … thus even if you cover the scarf before the board, you can not be sure of is: the scarf merger or wrinkles go away so effective. 2. Use a large (possibly very large) book to press the film inside. This is sure to help small pieces of gift wrap. 3. Open to the wrap as much as you want and keep it under the mattress. It really works and is the most common and easy, just make attention to put it under a mattress properly, with minimal wrinkles to it.
