September Wedding Invitations and Ideas Celebrate The Best Of The Fall Season

September is not only time to return to school but this may be an ideal time to marry.
The too hot summer days have passed and you find yourself with warm afternoons and evenings fresh, perfect for your wedding reception. Autumn colors lean more to the rich earthy tones and your menu can be a festive fall rich.

Invitations
Wedding invitations can go fall in warm colors from yellow to deep wine reds and brown earth. As the leaves change colors you can match those colors with your wedding invitations. Whether you opt for an invention, classic and elegant a modern look, you can use the colors of the season for your wedding in September.

September has a couple of holidays, you should look. Labor Day is the first Monday of September. This could be the perfect time for your marriage and enjoy the extra day off. If you plan to have our marriage around Labor Day, just make sure to note that with your wedding invitation, as some may not realize the date of the holiday.

Rosh Hashanah (September 19-20, 2009 and September 9-10, 2010) and Yom Kippur (September 28, 2009 and September 18, 2010) will be held in September also. Although they are never the same day on a traditional calendar, you should be aware of the holiday as Jewish guests may not be able to attend a wedding if it falls on one of those days.

September is also back to school time. If you plan to include children as bearers or flower girls Ring, you should talk to their parents at the beginning to ensure they can go to your wedding.

Ceremony and Reception
While the days may still be warm, the nights can be chilly in September. Your best bet is an outdoor ceremony earlier start in the afternoon and a reception inside or an entire ceremony indoors. Note your invitation to a wedding about your ceremony and reception plans so that guests can be prepared and dress accordingly.

Pepper a few flavors of autumn in your home menu. A salad of roasted pumpkin seeds or butternut squash can be a perfect start for a fall meal. Entrees should be warm and cozy to keep your customers warm during the start of this winter. A coffee bar might be a nice touch to enjoy your wedding cake, too.

At the bar, the stock of a couple of hearty red wines. You can also make you a cocktail hot beverage – a hot apple cider maybe? Or provide the apple cider as a cold drink while the sun is still high and then offer a cider hot apple as an after-dinner treat.

The cold air in September may be the ideal way to make your party a comfortable affair warm. Take your cues from the colors of the season and you'll receive a wonderful fall. Be careful not to over lap with other special occasions in September and you have a wedding reception that will be long remembered.
